Integration

Booking System Integration

Most businesses do not run on a plain calendar. They run on a practice management, salon, reservation or field service platform, and that is where bookings need to land.

What a platform connection handles

  • Service catalogue and correct durations
  • Practitioner, room and resource assignment
  • Existing customer records and history
  • Deposit and cancellation rules
  • Reschedules written to the same record

The Honest Position on Platform Integration

Whether we can connect to your booking platform depends entirely on what that platform exposes. Some publish a well documented API and the integration is straightforward. Others offer partial access, and some offer none at all.

We check this before quoting, not after. If a live connection is not possible, we say so and design around it: the flow captures a complete booking request and delivers it to your team, who enter it in seconds rather than making a return call.

Where partial access exists, we are specific about what works. Reading availability but not writing bookings, for example, still removes most of the back-and-forth even though the final entry stays manual.

What It Delivers

One source of truth

Bookings live in the platform your team already works from, not in a parallel list.

Service rules respected

Durations, resources and practitioner requirements come from your catalogue rather than being approximated.

Returning customers recognised

Existing records are matched, so history and preferences are not lost on a phone booking.

No double entry

Your front desk stops retyping what the caller already said.

How We Approach It

Platform assessed

We check what your system exposes and what it does not, before anything is promised.

Scope agreed

Read-only, full read and write, or request capture. You choose knowing exactly what each option delivers.

Connection built

The integration is developed against your service catalogue and tested with non-live records.

Verified in production

Real bookings are placed and checked in your platform before the flow handles customer calls.

Where Platform Connections Matter

Medical clinics

Clinic management systems hold the appointment book, the patient record and the queue.

Spas and salons

Salon software controls therapist assignment, room allocation and package balances.

Restaurants

Reservation platforms manage covers, seating sections and service periods.

Deployment Notes

Where a platform has no usable API, an automation layer sometimes bridges the gap, as described under growing SME deployments.

Custom development against a proprietary or on-premise system is scoped and quoted separately, and is most common in enterprise deployments. Related connections are listed in the feature library.

Platform Questions

Do you support our specific software?

Tell us the platform and we will check before quoting. We would rather confirm a limitation early than discover it during implementation.

What if there is no API at all?

The flow captures a complete booking request and delivers it to your team. Slower than direct booking, still much faster than a callback.

Can it access customer history?

Only where the platform permits it and you authorise it. Read access is often narrower than write access.

Who pays for custom development?

Bespoke work is quoted separately and agreed before it starts. It is never bundled into a subscription figure quietly.

Will an update to our platform break it?

Possibly, and that is why integrations are monitored. Changes are part of ongoing maintenance rather than a surprise.

Tell Us What You Run On

Name your booking platform and we will tell you honestly what can be connected, what cannot, and what the alternative looks like.
