Outbound Callbacks

Somebody rang, hung up before the conversation finished, or asked to be called at a better time. Outbound callbacks close that loop automatically, without turning your business into a cold calling operation.

When a callback is placed

  • The caller asked to be rung back at a stated time
  • A call dropped before it was completed
  • A booking request needed confirmation
  • An appointment needs rescheduling after a cancellation
  • A waitlist place has become available

Returning Calls, Not Making Them

This feature exists to finish conversations that someone else started. It calls people who contacted you, at a time they either requested or would reasonably expect, about the specific matter they raised.

It is not a dialler for prospecting, and we do not configure it as one. Unsolicited marketing calls in Singapore sit under the Do Not Call provisions, and businesses need their own advice on what those permit for their particular activity. Our design assumption is a returned call to an existing enquiry.

The most valuable use is the abandoned call. Someone rang at a busy moment, the conversation ended early, and nobody knew. A callback within the hour frequently recovers that enquiry entirely.

What It Delivers

Dropped calls are recovered

An enquiry that ended prematurely is followed up rather than silently lost.

Requested times are honoured

A caller who asked to be rung after six is rung after six, reliably.

Cancellations get refilled

Waitlisted callers can be offered a freed slot while it is still useful to them.

Nobody works a callback list

Your team stops spending the last hour of the day returning calls one by one.

How Callbacks Run

Reason recorded

Every callback is attached to a specific prior interaction, never to a purchased or scraped list.

Timing rules applied

Calls are placed within the hours you set, respecting the caller’s stated preference where given.

Purpose stated immediately

The call opens by explaining that it is returning their enquiry, and identifies itself as automated.

Outcome logged

Answered, unanswered or declined, the result is recorded and retry limits are enforced.

Where Callbacks Recover Business

Yoga and pilates studios

A cancelled place can be offered to the next person on the waitlist while the class still runs.

Automotive workshops

Quotation enquiries that ended without a booking are worth one properly timed return call.

Spas and salons

Short-notice availability is only valuable if someone is told about it quickly.

Deployment Notes

Small businesses typically enable callbacks only for abandoned calls and requested times, described under small business deployments.

Larger operations add waitlist and cancellation recovery with strict retry limits, covered under multi-location deployments and in the feature library.

Callback Questions

Can we use this for cold outreach?

We do not configure it that way. Callbacks are tied to a prior enquiry, and marketing calls raise Do Not Call obligations you should take your own advice on.

How many times will it retry?

Whatever limit you set, and we recommend a low one. Two unanswered attempts is usually the sensible ceiling.

What hours will it call within?

Only the window you define. Evening and weekend calling is disabled unless the caller specifically asked for it.

Does it say it is automated?

Yes, immediately, along with the reason for the call. Anything else would be misleading.

Can a person make the callback instead?

Yes. Many businesses use automated callbacks for scheduling matters and keep sales conversations with their team.
